How do I transfer IPO Shares to my IG share dealing account with PrimaryBid?

Your shares will be automatically transferred to your IG share dealing account at the agreed settlement date with PrimaryBid, should you follow PrimaryBid’s IPO participation process and use your 5 digit IG share dealing account number as your GIN (General Investment Account Number). See below for reference:

Other important information:

  • Transfers of shares from PrimaryBid can be cancelled or rejected if your basic information linked to your PrimaryBid account does not match our records
  • Usually shares are transferred on the same day as the initial public offering (IPO), but may take a few working days depending on the agreed settlement dates between IG and PrimaryBid
  • PrimaryBid shares cannot be transferred to an IG ISA directly, meaning you will have to transfer your shares to your IG share dealing account first and then request a bed and ISA  transfer to your IG ISA
